Ilse in the Sky is a cozy, beautiful cottage in Nelson. The vacation home is nestled uphill, affording you incredible views of the Selkirk Mountains and Kootenay River. Enjoy spectacular sunsets from the high deck and the peace and serenity of hanging in a hammock under the cedar trees. A short walk downhill leads you to the culture and cuisine of Nelson while just out your back door are walks into a peaceful forest.
Ideal for couples or a small family as it sleeps up to three/four people. The Main floor has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and large windows that lead to a view of a forest grove, while the second room is a with a cozy single bed and window framing the river.

The cottage is wood designed with hardwood floors, lots of glass windows and French doors to allow natural light to stream in. Cook in the open atmosphere of your kitchen or have a barbeque outside. On cool nights enjoy lighting a fire and lounging in the living room; if it is warm relax outside on the upper deck, enjoy the mountain breeze and setting sun.
A Perfect retreat for people who enjoy quiet, beauty and serenity and like to be within walking distance of downtown Nelson. There is an endless range of activities to dip into; whether it is sport, wilderness, culture, nightlife or dinning, Nelson is a diverse community to explore
Weekly rental includes fully equipped home, kitchen, cleaning and access to
