In order to ensure hikes are available, please book in advance. Prices are based on guest to guide ratios. Our Guides are fully certified ACMG mountain guides or hiking guides who have permit, access and insurance for provincial park wilderness areas and crown land. Choosefrom full day hiking adventures or custom designed shorter day walks and interpretive programs. Full day alpine hikes leave town by 8 am and return by supper; our interpretive nature walks and easy strolls begin at 8am and return just after lunch What you need to know... We take a maximum of 8 people per guide for low ecological impact and your enjoyment Youth and families are welcome, providing they can easily walk the distance and we choose the appropriate trail. Proper equipment is necessary for safety and comfort. Bring sturdy footwear with good grip and high ankle support, hat & gloves, sunscreen & sunhat, warm clothing, rain gear. Talk to us forÊhiking tipsÊor additional gear suggestions. We provide some extra equipment such as poles, back packs, water bottles, if necessary, please request upon booking. A locally made organic lunch & beverage can be provided for you ($15 per person). Please request in advance. Ensure to bring a full water bottle. A waiver must be signer prior to the hike. We provide a French speaking guide if requested. We can provide transportation to the trailhead at cost; please request in advance. If you drive to the trailhead ensure you have a high clearance four-wheel drive vehicle. We require you to meet us at a designated time and place in Nelson to sign waivers and check gear.
